New Interim Final Rule Further Clarifies Requirements of Summer Work Travel Visa Program

On April 26, 2011, the Department of State published an interim final rule to amend the requirements of the Summer Work Travel category of the Exchange Visitor visa program.

The Department of Homeland Security recently announced it is expanding the list of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) designated degree programs that will qualify graduates in the US on student visas for optional practical training extensions.
